Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-24

This is a starting template for a short-term-rental management service. Replace the bracketed placeholders and have it reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it.

These Terms govern your use of the short-term-rental management service (the "Service") provided by [Operator / Company name]. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

The Service

The Service helps hosts manage short-term rentals — units, calendars, bookings, cleaning, guest messaging, a direct-booking page and reporting. Features available depend on your plan.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of the data you enter, and all activity under your login. You must be legally able to enter a contract and comply with applicable laws for renting your property.

Plans & payment

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance through Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, who sells the subscription to you and issues your invoice. New hosts get a 14-day free trial before the first charge.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Prices may change with prior notice. Taxes may apply. [Refund policy — e.g. no refunds for partial periods.]

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no infringing others' rights, no attempts to break security or disrupt the platform, and no sending of unsolicited messages through the Service.

Your data & guests

You retain ownership of the data you enter. For guest personal data you add or collect via your direct-booking page, you act as the data controller and are responsible for having a lawful basis and informing your guests. We process it on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability & warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some features depend on third parties (e.g. payment, AI, email) that may change or be unavailable.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or unlawful use.
